Fall has come again, and I don't know about your country, but France is getting pretty cold these days!
Lately I've been obsessed with pink, and especially with Barbie pink since the Moschino SS15 fashion show, and this damn jacket of my dreams!

Mermaid adventure in Okinawa [part 3]

Hello little Kyuppies!

Here is the 3rd part of my Okinawa trip!

On the 3rd day, I was busy with diving lessons, and I was sooo tired so I took shorts naps along the day XD

For dinner, I went to a really nice and familial restaurant called Marumiya, I took the fried eel set, it was soooo yummy!!! I especially loved the seaweed! Of what I understood, those are typical from Okinawa. I wish I had brought some back home, but I didn't remembered the name of this seaweed (T_T)

Voici la 3ème partie de mon voyage à Okinawa!

Le 3ème jour, j'étais très occupée par mes leçons de plongée, et j'étais teeelleeement fatiguée que j'ai fait des petites siestes tout au long de la journée XD

Au dîner, je suis allée dans un restaurant familial très sympa appelé Marumiya. J'ai commandé le set avec de l'anguille grillée, et c'était délicieuuuux!!! J'ai particulièrement aimé les algues! De ce que j'ai compris, c'est une algue typique d'Okinawa. J'aurais bien aimé en ramener chez moi, mais je ne me souvenais pas du nom de cette algue (T_T)

On the 4th day, it was rainy, and the visibility in the water was bad, so we didn't go diving.

I didn't want to waste a day doing nothing, so I took my umbrella, and I went for a stroll.

On my way I met with cute salamanders and snails that seemed pretty happy about this rain! XD

Le 4ème jour, il a plu, et la visibilité dans l'eau était mauvaise, nous ne sommes donc pas allés plonger.

Comme je ne voulais pas gâcher une journée à ne rien faire, j'ai pris mon parapluie, et je suis allée me balader.

Sur le chemin, j'ai croisé des petites salamandres, et des escargots qui avaient l'air ravi de toute cette pluie eux! XD

I still can't believe how beautiful it was there, at this time of the year there aren't many tourists, so the beaches kinda feel like a deserted island, it's amazing, just the sea, the sound of the wind and waves.....

Je n'arrive toujours pas à croire à quel point c'était magnifique, à cette époque de l'année il y peu de touristes, et les plages donnent l'impression d'être sur une île déserte, c'est vraiment incroyable, juste la mer, le son du vent et des vagues.....

Mermaid adventure in Okinawa [part 2]

While I'm motivated, I'll keep writing about my trip so here's part 2! XD
The morning of the 2nd day, I woke up around 9am, and went take my breakast in the dining room of the hotel.
It was soooo yummy!!! I took the menu with toasts, scrambled eggs, tea, soup, salad, and pudding.
I'm usually not hungry in the morning but it was all really good and I ate it all.


Tant que je suis motivée, je vais continuer d'écrire, voilà donc la partie 2! XD
Le matin du 2ème jour, je me suis réveillée vers 9h, et je suis directement aller prendre mon petit déjeuner dans la salle à manger de l'hôtel.
C'était tellement boooon!!! J'ai choisi le menu avec les toasts, les oeufs brouillés, du thé, de la soupe, de la salade, et du pudding.
Je n'ai pas trop faim le matin d'habitude, mais là c'était vraiment trop bon et j'ai tout mangé.

After that, I quickly went to get changed since I had my first diving lesson at 10am!!!!
I was so excited, but also a little bit anxious, thankfully, most of the diving vocabulary is composed of english-like words, so even though the staff didn't speak english that much, I was able to fully understand their explanations!

I don't have any photos of my first diving lesson, but it was AWESOME.
We dived around 10/15meters deep, I saw so many fishes I had never seen before, the sensation of feeling weightless, of being able to stay so long in the water and yet be able to breath normally is just so great!!!!
I must admit I was scared at some point because my ears were making a "biiiiiiip" sound even though I was equalizing my nose and ears regularly, but in the end it was nothing serious, I just needed some time to get used to being under the water pressure.


Après cela, je me suis vite changée car j'avais ma première leçon de plongée à 10h!!!!
J'étais super excitée, mais aussi un peu anxieuse, heureusement, la plupart du vocabulaire de plongée est composé de mots anglais, donc même si le staff ne parlait que peu anglais, j'ai réussi à comprendre toutes leurs explications!

Je n'ai pas de photos de ma première leçon de plongée, mais c'était GENIAL.
On a plongé à environ 10/15mètres de profondeur, j'ai vu tellement de poissons que je n'avais jamais vu avant, la sensation de se sentir en apesanteur dans l'eau, de pouvoir y rester aussi longtemps tout en pouvant respirer normalement c'est vraiment incroyable!!!!
Je dois admettre qu'à un moment j'ai eu une petite frayeur car mes oreilles faisaient un "biiiiiiip" assez strident, malgré le fait que j'égalisais mon nez et mes oreilles régulièrement, mais au final ce n'était rien de sérieux, il me fallait juste un peu de temps pour m'habituer à la pression de l'eau.

After we got back at the hotel, I ate the snacks I had bought before, and then I went on the terrace to enjoy the somehow-sunny weather, and to study the scuba diving book to be ready for the test.
So much to learn in so little time, but the nice terrace and the calm atmosphere helped me concentrate.

Après nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel, j'ai grignoté ce que j'avais acheté la veille, et puis je suis allée m'installer sur la terrasse pour profiter du temps plus ou moins ensoleillé, et pour étudier le manuel de plongée pour être prête pour le test.
Tellement à apprendre en si peu de temps, mais la terrasse et l'atmosphère calme m'ont aidé à me concentrer.

Later in the afternoon, the staff offered me to go see the sunset, so we went to a cliff on the side of the island, it was very windy, but the sunset was really amazing, and we talked a lot about the Zamami island and the surrounding islands.
Then we went to a nice restaurant, we ate and talked a lot again, it was a really fun night, the people on this island are really nice and fun people!

Plus tard dans l'après-midi, le staff me proposa d'aller voir le coucher de soleil, alors nous nous sommes rendus sur une falaise sur un côté de l'île, il y avait beaucoup de vent, mais le coucher de soleil était superbe, et on a beaucoup parlé de l'île de Zamami et des îles alentours.
Ensuite nous sommes allés dans un restaurant très sympa, on a beaucoup mangé, et parlé aussi, ça a vraiment été une soirée très agréable, les gens de cette île sont vraiment gentils et drôles!
